FAQs
What is counselling?
Counselling is a type of therapy that involves talking to a trained professional about issues and concerns in a safe and confidential space. The aim of counselling is to help people understand themselves and others, and to find the tools and emotional resilience to manage their life issues.
What if I change my mind?
It's important that both you and I feel we are a good match when it comes to our counselling relationship. Therefore, I offer a free initial consultation call to help clients decide if we are going to be a good fit. Once counselling has started I will regularly check in with how it is going. If you ever want to stop working together, that is always your decision and one I will respect.
How many sessions will I need?
I take a personalised approach to each clients case when it comes to number of sessions. If a couple of sessions is all you need that is fine, or if you'd prefer a longer term commitment for an indeterminite period, that's fine too. Once we get started, we will review your journey regularly and adapt it to suit your needs as our time together goes on.
What happens if I can't make my session?
I kindly request at least 48 hours notice where possible in the event of cancellation or reschedule. I will always endeavor to fit you in that same week where I can.

In the event that less than 24 hours notice is given, or you do not attend our session without contact, my fee is fully payable.
